Born and raised in the outskirts of New York City, TwoTrees is a self-taught artist and professional wordsmith that draws on a multitude of disciplines, from collage, to photography and video. Regardless of method, TwoTees’ artwork communicates an ancient mysticism fused with contemporary sensibility that manifests as a bold and hallucinatory otherworld — both primal and ultramodern.

TwoTrees (b. 1983) currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he works as an editorial and street photographer, video artist, and projectionist at art galleries, concerts, and live events. TwoTrees has also created pop-up, ephemeral art installations in rural and abandoned parts across the SouthWest United States, including New Mexico, Texas, and California. His work has been displayed at galleries in Los Angeles, London, Istanbul, Jerusalem, and Lima. In 2019, he self-published a limited edition artist book Los Desaparecidos.
